In life saving situations, speed and distance make a lot of difference. The relevance and inevitability of air medical services comes to play at this point of time. An almost new concept for the region - air ambulance, air rescue, air evacuation and other medical transport services, is in focus for the very first time in the entire Middle East with the launch of the first Dubai Air Medical & Rescue Show 2008. The show will be held alongside Dubai Helishow 2008 at East Hall, Airport Expo, Dubai , UAE from 11 th to 13 th November 2008.
Organised by Mediac Communications LLC, this unique and highly specialized exhibition brings together the key players and technologies & services relevant in the Air Medical and Rescue industry. Abulhoul, Deputy Managing Director, Mediac Communications & Exhibitions LLC said “Being the first of its kind event in the region, the exhibition will reveal the crucial role played by air transportation in transferring patients when other modes of travel by land or sea would prove difficult or dangerous. Abu Dhabi Aviation is already in the industry providing 24/7 medevac coverage for all local Abu Dhabi based oil companies on the offshore as well as desert locations.
Prestige Jet - the fast-growing new private aviation company of Abu Dhabi International Airport and Al-Ain Airport , has recently signed an agreement with Flight Ambulance International (FAI), a world leader in medical evacuation and repatriation services.
